Using SetStage Remote
What you can do from your phone or tablet.
SetStage Remote mirrors the Mac app. It has five tabs, with separate layouts for iPhone and iPad.
| Tab | What it does |
|---|---|
| Stage | The song list, with the same now playing view as the Mac. |
| Song | The selected song with its transport controls, timeline, section chips, next song and “When this song ends”. “Play selected song” starts it. |
| Setlists | Switch, create, rename and delete setlists, and edit their songs. |
| Mixer | Volume, mute, solo and output routing, with the Outputs Only switch. |
| MIDI | Map a MIDI controller connected to the device. |
Control the show
The Remote can play, pause, stop, return to the start of a song, move between songs and sections, select a section to play next, and seek along the timeline. It can also refresh the session, and save the project, which needs a project already saved on the Mac.
Edit setlists
- Choose the active setlist from the picker.
- Tap a song to change its name, notes and stage colour. Renaming a song is only possible from the Remote.
- Choose Edit to reorder songs or take them out of the setlist.
Map MIDI on the device
Pick an action, then move a control. The next note, button, program change or control change past halfway is mapped. You can map Play / Pause, Stop, Song Start, Previous Song, Next Song, Previous Section and Next Section. Refresh MIDI Inputs rescans the connected devices.
