Song details and notes

The workspace beside the setlist: timeline, sections, colour and notes.

Choose the player icon in the setlist header to open the song details. They show the song that is playing, or the one you have selected.

What it shows

  • The status, Playing, Paused or Stopped, with the song’s number and name.
  • A timeline with the section names above it. Click it to move the playhead.
  • A summary of Elapsed, the next section and how long until it, Total and Remaining.
  • A chip for each section.
  • The next song, or “End of setlist”.
  • “When this song ends”, with its menu.

Queue a section

While a song is stopped, choose a section chip to queue it. The chip is marked with a play symbol, and “Play next” shows its name. Press Play and the song starts there. While a song is playing the chips show where you are, and use the timeline or Next Marker to jump.

Colour

The palette button beside the title opens Song color. Turn it on and pick a colour. The song’s colour then shows in its row, its sections and the setlist.

Notes

The notes button shows or hides a song’s notes, and so does Command-N, or a MIDI control you have mapped. Choose Add Notes, or Edit, type, then Save, or Cancel to leave the notes as they were. Notes are saved with the project.
